Physical Therapy
is a health profession developed to help people with
large motor coordination, mobility, muscle strengthening,
pain management and endurance. Adult physical therapy
involves treatment of either neurological or orthopedic
conditions. The ultimate goal is to restore the patient
to their previous level of function. Pediatric physical
therapy also involves treating either neurological
or orthopedic conditions.
The difference is that
children may have never developed certain milestones;
consequently treatment involves developmental training
and teaching of these skills for the first time. |
|
Pediatric therapy is an area of extreme
specialty, which takes a therapist trained and experienced with
a knowledge of normal development and subsequently abnormal
developement issues. PT
in Motion, Inc., services children
and adults.
The therapists are highly skilled and are considered specialists
in their respective fields. The owners themselves have over
25 years combined experience. The clinic is designed with
a warm and friendly atmosphere where the staff take pride
in providing one on one personal care. All patients, no matter
what the age, or diagnosis, are made to feel comfortable and
